Coir
bricks
Coir (rhyme with "noir")
is a fine-grade organic fiber made from ground coconut
husks. It is light and fluffy and provides structure,
aeration, and water retention. A substitute for peat moss,
coir used for improving soils and rooting plants, and
it makes a superb worm bedding. Just soak in a bucket
of water. We use this to package worms for shipping interisland.
